At the Tamil Nadu Global Tourism Summit 2026, 127 MoUs were signed, committing an investment of Rs 22,794.78 crores, which is projected to create 65,937 jobs across various tourism sectors. Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the summit, awarded prizes for the Tourism Innovation Hackathon, and launched three completed tourism projects while laying the foundation for two new initiatives.
