ABB Robotics has become the first multinational corporation to obtain China Robot (CR) certification for its full product portfolio. This includes industrial robots like the IRB 1520, IRB 1600, IRB 1660, and PoWa collaborative robot series.

The certification is part of ABB's 'China, for China' strategy and follows a collaboration with the Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute. ABB aims to achieve comprehensive certification for over 120 product types by 2026.
