Automated robotic beef scribing systems, developed by Intelligent Robotics, are being trialled at Kilcoy Global Foods and Australian Meat Group processing plants in Australia. The technology aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the meat processing industry, with trials ongoing for 18 months.

Initial results show improved carcass yield and consistency in cutting, with over 90% accuracy in scribing. The project is supported by the Australian Meat Processor Corporation as part of a broader program to enhance manufacturing practices.
