BEML Limited has inaugurated a robotic welding cell and a Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Axle Assembly Shop at its Kolar Gold Fields complex, enhancing its manufacturing capabilities. The robotic welding cell, part of a modernization program, utilizes advanced technologies to improve productivity and weld quality, while the HMV Axle Assembly Shop is designed to assemble nine axles per day with a focus on green manufacturing principles.
