California Court Allows Costco Camarillo Project to Proceed with Opening Timeline
FLOW CONTROL
A California appeals court has ruled in favor of the City of Camarillo, allowing the Costco development project to advance. Despite local opposition from the Ventura County Citizens Against Mega Gas, the court found no substantial evidence to support claims of significant environmental harm.
The Costco facility will include a 32-pump gas station, food court, and other amenities, with an anticipated opening in mid-to-late 2024. The project is expected to create approximately 900 jobs.
