Ald. Daniel La Spata is gathering feedback from residents regarding the expansion of food delivery robots by Serve and Coco Robotics in Chicago's 1st Ward, which includes West Town, Wicker Park, and Logan Square.

Concerns have been raised about the robots' speed and sidewalk space usage. A petition signed by over 800 residents called for a pause on the pilot program due to safety issues. The Personal Delivery Device Pilot Program was introduced in 2022 and is set to expire in May 2027 unless further action is taken by the City Council.
