NOVEL RENEWABLE ENERGY

Construction has commenced on the Long Point Shoreline Resilience Project at South River Farms Park in Edgewater, Maryland. The project aims to protect 1,600 feet of shoreline along Selby Bay from erosion and storm surges.

It will incorporate traditional stone sills, large woody debris, and oyster habitat structures to enhance coastal resilience and create aquatic habitats. The project is supported by Anne Arundel County and funded by the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
