Cordova Electric Cooperative (CEC) is sharing its expertise in renewable energy with communities globally, led by CEO Clay Koplin. Recently inducted into the Alaska Innovators Hall of Fame, Koplin collaborates with Seward to restart a dormant hydroelectric facility, emphasizing energy diversification.
The CEC has also engaged with other utilities for various projects, including the Bradley Lake Hydroelectric Project, which aims to increase power output for Anchorage. CEC's collaborative efforts support local energy initiatives and enhance long-term energy security.
