The Development Bank of Wales has invested £2.18 million in Electra Nest to expand the EV charging network in Wales, focusing on three locations including Pembroke Dock and Pyle Garden Centre. This funding will enable the installation of ultra-fast charging stations using MicroGrid battery technology, aimed at reducing costs and grid dependency. The investment aligns with a significant increase in EV sales in the UK, which rose by 28.9% from January to October 2025.
