A new solid-state relay and AC voltage controller has been developed using the BTA41-1200BW TRIAC, capable of handling 40A and 1200V. The system features two operational modes—phase-angle AC voltage control and optically isolated ON/OFF relay mode—allowing for smooth voltage regulation and efficient microcontroller-based control of high-power AC loads. With a tested PCB prototype, this design is well-suited for industrial automation and IoT applications.
