The Town of Duck has successfully completed a shoreline stabilization project at Duck Town Park, which began in 2017. This initiative features 10 vertical vinyl sills designed to dissipate wave energy and promote natural water and sediment movement, addressing challenges related to design and permitting, especially concerning subaquatic vegetation.
