E-Concern (Borneo) Sdn Bhd is establishing Sabah's first mini scheduled waste management facility at the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park, with an investment exceeding RM1 billion, projected to create around 270 jobs. The facility aims to support industrial growth while adhering to environmental standards, aligning with the 'Sabah First' vision from the Ministry of Industrial Development. Additionally, Deputy Agriculture Minister Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup emphasized the need to develop Sabah's deep-sea fishery industry to enhance economic growth and energy production.
