The E|MPower project, led by the Institute for Factory Automation and Production Systems at FAU, successfully established a test track for contactless power transfer on Germany's Autobahn A6. The project involved partners including Electreon Germany GmbH and Autobahn GmbH des Bundes, and was funded by the former German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action under the Electromobility Funding Program.
