The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) approved RE Resources Inc.'s application to connect its 69.90 MWac San Manuel solar project in Pangasinan to the electricity grid. The project includes a 75 MVA substation and a 7-kilometer transmission line, with a total cost of P325.48 million.

Construction, which began on January 27, is approximately 90% complete. The ERC emphasized the need for authorization for similar projects to maintain grid security.
