This initiative aims to establish Canada as the first G7 nation with an operational small modular reactor (SMR), expected to power 300,000 households.

The company collaborates with the University of Alberta to optimize reactor designs and fuel, addressing the growing energy demand for AI data centers. Additionally, First Hydrogen has formed a subsidiary focused on integrating SMR-produced energy with electrolysis for green hydrogen production.
