Five of the seven inverters at the 220 kV Substation Solar Photovoltaic Park in Las Tunas, Cuba, have been synchronized with the National Electric System as part of a trial. The park, with an installed capacity of 15 MW, aims to shift Cuba's energy matrix towards renewable sources. The remaining two inverters, each capable of delivering 3 MW, are expected to be completed this month, resulting in a total capacity of 21.8 MW for the system.
