Fortera has certified its ReAct™ low-carbon cement to meet all six ASTM C1157 performance categories simultaneously, a feat typically requiring four separate portland cement formulations. Independent testing by Construction Testing Services has validated ReAct's performance across eight test requirements.

This single formulation simplifies procurement and mix design, allowing contractors to use one cement for various project needs. ReAct's performance is attributed to its unique calcium carbonate structure produced from mineralizing industrial CO₂. It offers compressive strength comparable to ordinary portland cement (OPC) at 28 days within just 2 days, enhanced chemical durability, and reduced drying shrinkage, contributing to improved long-term structural integrity.
