Gail India to Establish 300-Tonne Bio CNG Plant in Bengaluru
NEWS
The state-run natural gas company Gail India is set to establish a 300-tonne bio CNG plant on 18 acres in Haralakunte village, Bengaluru. The facility's production capacity may later expand to 500 tonnes per day.
The revenue department and Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Ltd will conduct a land survey before transferring it to Gail India. This follows the inauguration of Gail's first CBG plant in Ranchi last year, which processes 150 tonnes of municipal solid waste daily. Additionally, Gail India is collaborating with Trualt Bioenergy to create 10 new CBG plants.
