Deputy Head of Mission Johannes Lehne highlighted the renewed focus on improving Nigeria's transmission and distribution infrastructure, aiming for higher power capacity.
Germany is also enhancing energy cooperation with Nigeria, emphasizing investments in renewable sources. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission reported vast gas reserves but stressed challenges in converting these into economic value.
