Golden Island Pte Ltd has successfully completed Singapore's inaugural methanol bunkering operation under a new licensing regime, delivering 300 metric tons of methanol to the Brave Pioneer, chartered by Cargill. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore issued licenses to three companies, including Golden Island, to supply methanol, with licenses valid for five years. Golden Island operates a fleet of four tankers dedicated to methanol operations.
