This directive follows a report from a state committee that evaluated the facility's condition after years of inactivity due to conflict.

Yei was the first town in South Sudan to receive a public power grid in 2009, established with USAID support. Governor Adil highlights the importance of reliable electricity for socio-economic recovery in the region.
