Great Oceans Green Ammonia (GOGA) is developing renewable ammonia and methanol in Sri Lanka, utilizing 4 GW offshore wind and 700 MW onshore solar. The 1000 km2 offshore complex aims to generate 13-15 TWh/year.

GOGA plans to produce 200,000 tons of methanol in two years, reaching 500,000 tons of renewable ammonia by 2030 and 1 million tons by 2032. Sri Lanka's strategic location on major shipping routes presents a commercial advantage for its bunkering industry.
