Greater Noida is enhancing its power infrastructure to meet increased electricity demand anticipated this summer, with upgrades to key substations including the Iteda substation, which will be connected to the 220 kV Jalpura substation. The upgrades, which involve the installation of new transformers and expansion of the network, aim to alleviate outages and accommodate a projected peak demand of 950 MW, driven by population growth and industrial activity. Additionally, plans for a new substation in Badalpur are underway to further support the area's power distribution needs.
