OneEnergy Development has expressed that it cannot afford the increased lease terms proposed by Green Bay officials for a 5-megawatt solar farm. The city’s Finance Committee suggested a $1,000 annual rate per acre for a minimum 30-year agreement, up from a previous $800, prompting the City Council to grant Mayor Eric Genrich the authority to finalize the lease. The proposed solar farm spans 35 to 40 acres, with potential access issues to Algoma Road and the nearby substation.
