METHANOLHYDROGENAMMONIA
Hamburg Port is set to become Germany's primary hub for green shipping fuels, focusing on ammonia and methanol imports. MB Energy plans to construct an ammonia import terminal in Wilhelmsburg, with a capacity of 80,000 cubic meters and an annual throughput of one million tons, as part of the New Energy Gate project. This initiative aims to secure a reliable supply of green ammonia for European customers, with operations expected to commence following the approval phase.
