Holcim El-Djazaïr is advancing green cement production with its ECOPlanet range, utilizing local materials and focusing on carbon reduction strategies, including waste co-incineration and alternative raw materials. The company aims to cut CO₂ emissions from transport by over 40% by 2026 and plans to manage over 500,000 tons of waste through its Geocycle unit. Additionally, Holcim expects to significantly increase its cement exports, capturing a substantial share of Algeria's market while enhancing competitiveness through a partnership with Sonatrach.
