Hydro-Québec has begun preparatory work for a new substation in Côte Saint-Luc, including an 18-km transmission line, with an investment of $740 million. This project aims to enhance service quality and power capacity for Côte Saint-Luc, Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Hampstead, and Montréal-Ouest, with construction starting in June 2026 and commissioning expected by 2029.
