METHANOLNATURAL GASAMMONIA

India's Ministry of Coal is set to propose a ₹35,000 crore incentive package for coal gasification projects, significantly up from the current ₹8,500 crore, as part of its efforts to support the National Coal Gasification Mission's goal of 100 million tonnes by 2030. This funding aims to enhance domestic production of ammonia, methanol, and urea, potentially reducing the country's reliance on imports and lowering the national import bill by about $15 billion annually. The initiative also seeks to benefit major companies and revitalize stranded gas-based power plants.
