Katy Approves Purchase of Land for Police and EMS Substation in Texas Heritage Marketplace

The city of Katy, Texas, has approved the purchase of 1.304 acres for a police and emergency medical services substation within the Texas Heritage Marketplace development. The $227,248 purchase aims to enhance response times for emergency services in the growing west side of the city.
The development, valued at $400 million, will feature over 1 million square feet of various facilities. The design for the substation is expected to be presented to the city council in 2027.
