Kiwigrid has initiated a pilot phase for Matua, an AI-based energy management system aimed at enhancing energy efficiency. The AI will assist end-users, optimize energy consumption, and improve energy generation forecasts.

The pilot will commence during the E-world energy & water event on February 10-12, 2026. Matua integrates closely with Kiwigrid's Energy-IoT platform, offering significant improvements in energy management through precise data analysis and machine learning capabilities.
