Kongsberg Maritime will provide a fully integrated equipment package for LS Marine Solution's ultra-large cable lay vessel under construction at Tersan Shipyard in Türkiye. The vessel, measuring 148.4 meters in length and 31 meters in width, will have a cable carrying capacity of 13,000 tons and a total displacement of 18,800 tons.

It is designed to meet the increasing demand for subsea HVDC and optical cables and will feature advanced systems for efficiency and sustainability. Construction is expected to take three years, with operations commencing in 2028.
