LAT Aerospace, founded by Deepinder Goyal and Surobhi Das, has acquired Sharang Shakti, a defence robotics startup in Gurugram. This acquisition aims to build indigenous defence capabilities while developing next-generation civil aviation platforms.

Goyal emphasized the shared technology stack between civil aviation and defence, focusing on autonomy, perception, and navigation systems. LAT Aerospace is also working on a regional aviation network and developing Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) aircraft.
