The new Livingston County EMS Substation in Putnam Township began operations on Wednesday, enhancing emergency response times for residents. Located at 3260 W. M-36, the facility is positioned near the Township Hall and Fire Department.

The project received strong support from the Livingston County Board of Commissioners and reflects a partnership with Putnam Township public safety. This marks the first EMS base in Putnam Township in over 30 years, aiming to improve emergency service collaboration in the area.
