The Lynn Water & Sewer Commission (LWSC) is set to enhance infrastructure along the Ipswich River as part of the Ipswich River Project. Funded by a $200,000 grant from the Healey-Driscoll Administration received in 2024, the project includes upgrades to aging pumping station equipment.

Bids for contractors are due on February 19, with the project slated to commence this summer. These upgrades are essential for maintaining operations as older systems are phased out and are linked to the removal of the Boston Dam, which will require adjustments to existing infrastructure.
