Malinec-Latky Pumped-Storage Hydro Plant Project Approved as Significant Investment

The Slovak cabinet has approved the Malinec-Latky pumped-storage hydro-electric power plant project as a significant investment, with an estimated preparation cost of €60 million. The Environment Ministry cited critical time pressure for the decision. Environment Minister Tomas Taraba is expected to issue a significant investment certificate within two weeks.
