Mammoth Solar, in partnership with Purdue University and others, has launched the Midwest Agrivoltaics for Resilient Communities initiative. This initiative, part of the NSF's Regional Resilience Innovation Incubator, aims to address rural energy demands and extreme weather impacts by combining solar energy with agricultural practices. A demonstration zone will be established in Indiana for research activities, and a potential $15 million Phase 2 grant is anticipated for further development.
