North Warwickshire Borough Council has approved a budget for 2026-27 that includes a freeze on its share of council tax. This marks only the third time in 52 years the council has implemented a tax freeze.

The budget allocates £2m for community projects, £100,000 for flood prevention, and £700,000 for homelessness support. Additionally, it commits £27m to rebuild a leisure center and funds for street cleaning and local facilities.
