Oceanic Iron Ore Corp. has confirmed the production of high-quality Direct Reduction iron ore concentrate at its Hopes Advance Project in Northern Québec, achieving specifications of 67% Fe and less than 2% SiO2 with minimal modifications to its existing flowsheet. The project, which holds approximately 1.39 billion tonnes of resources and a pre-tax NPV of USD $2.4 billion over 28 years, reported an 84% recovery through gravity methods and plans further testing to optimize production for strategic partners.
