Oxford Independent School Announces Full Co-Education Expansion Plans by 2030

An independent school in Oxford will transition to full co-education by welcoming girls into Year 3 and Year 4 in September 2027, and Year 7 in September 2030. The expansion includes the new Science, Library & Partnerships Building to enhance the science curriculum, focusing on robotics, AI, and Big Data.

The school aims to adapt facilities for girls and has recently upgraded the playground. Founded in 1480, the school has a history of educating boy choristers and won the Independent Schools of the Year Award for Social Mobility in 2024.
