QED Naval is advancing tidal energy development through its Digital Twin programme, which utilizes operational data for predictive maintenance and performance optimization, funded by the EU Interreg Offshore for Sure project in collaboration with Tocardo BV. The initiative aims to enhance reliability and reduce costs for projects like the Ooseterschelder Tidal Project, utilizing advanced software for real-time monitoring and scenario simulation. The operational Tocdatacentre in the Netherlands will connect additional projects and test turbines in Anglesey, North Wales.
