The Riverside Fire Department has implemented a Pump Pod recycling system designed to save 3.5 to 4.5 million gallons of water annually during training. The system includes a training hydrant that feeds water continuously, allowing firefighters to practice without wasting resources.

Each unit can deliver over 2,000 gallons per minute and is portable for use in various locations. Other fire departments in California, including Orange County and Los Angeles, have also acquired Pump Pods.
