Rotterdam Port to Develop 96 MW Floating Solar Project for Local Businesses by 2027

POWER GRIDS & TRANSMISSIONSOLAR ENERGY

A 96 MW floating solar project will be constructed at the Port of Rotterdam's De Slufter dredging depot, serving local businesses instead of the grid. Developed by Sun Float Power, the project will cover 80 hectares and generate approximately 87 GWh annually. Completion is set for 2027 as part of the Dutch government's initiative for clean energy on government land.
