A Saudi Arabian delegation, led by Ambassador Amara S. Sackor, has pledged up to $49 million for Liberia's electricity transmission expansion, focusing on the Botota-Voinjama-Mendikorma corridor. This commitment was established during discussions between the Saudi Fund for Development and the Liberia Electricity Corporation, aiming to enhance electricity access in northern Liberia. The project is estimated to cost $190 million and spans 605 kilometers, with financing contingent on further assessments.
