SED Implements LTE System Achieving 99% Water Recovery at Coca-Cola Bottling Facilities in Jammu

NOVEL RENEWABLE ENERGY

Spray Engineering Devices Ltd. (SED) has installed its patented Low-Temperature Evaporation (LTE) Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system at two Coca-Cola bottling facilities in Jammu, NJ Food LLP in Samba and Kandhari Beverages in Kathua.

This system enables complete ZLD without conventional Effluent Treatment Plants, achieving 99% water recovery. Operating at low temperatures (60°C-65°C) and utilizing Mechanical Vapor Recompression technology, the LTE system minimizes energy consumption to 13-15 kWh/m³ of feed and produces clean condensate water with low Total Dissolved Solids. The compact design of the LTE system reduces the need for large infrastructure and supports the recovery of dissolved solids, promoting a waste-to-wealth model and lowering freshwater dependency.
