Skytree Secures €5.5M Funding for Direct Air Capture CO2 Solutions

DIRECT AIR & OCEAN CAPTURE

Amsterdam-based Skytree has secured €5.5M in seed funding to advance its direct air capture technology aimed at CO2 solutions for climate-neutral horticulture. The funding, led by Horticoop and Yield Lab Europe, will support the company's efforts to generate onsite CO2 and reduce natural gas reliance, potentially increasing agricultural yields by 20-30%. Skytree, founded in 2014, has registered 17 patents globally and is now accepting pre-orders for its vertical farm units.
