St Edward's Church has been awarded the Gold Eco Church award for its environmental initiatives under the Eco Church scheme. The church began its journey in 2022, achieving bronze in Spring 2023 and silver in 2024.

Key efforts include rewilding grounds to support wildlife, establishing a community garden, and improving energy efficiency through LED lighting. The church is also fundraising to install an air source heat pump to replace its gas boiler.
