STADLER Completes Reconstruction of Sortierkontor Nord Packaging Plant in Bremen, Germany

STADLER Anlagenbau GmbH has completed the reconstruction of the Sortierkontor Nord lightweight packaging facility in Bremen, Germany, following severe fire damage in 2022. The facility, a joint venture between Nehlsen AG and PreZero Recycling Deutschland GmbH, has been redesigned to enhance safety, automation, and operational reliability. The rebuilt plant will process approximately 120,000 tons of material annually, featuring improved fire protection and sorting capabilities, and is set to be commissioned in early 2025.
