Tantransco has initiated two 110 kV substation projects in Tiruchy district to enhance power supply for rural, agricultural, and industrial consumers. A Rs 10-crore substation in Kaanakiliyanallur has commenced construction, aiming to serve the Pullambadi region. Additionally, a Rs 15-crore substation in Manachanallur, planned to start this month, will address power issues related to local rice mills.
