ROBOTICSSPACE ECONOMY
Texas A&M University has developed TAMU-SPIRIT, an orbital research platform for the International Space Station (ISS), in partnership with Aegis Aerospace. The platform will allow Texas A&M System researchers to conduct experiments in low-Earth orbit, focusing on various disciplines such as materials manufacturing and robotics.
The first mission, TAMU-SPIRIT-1, includes seven selected experiments related to biopolymer durability, robotics testing, and more. Future missions are planned with ongoing opportunities for research participation.
