On February 3, 2026, the Township of Tiny Fire and Emergency Services introduced a new fire tanker truck at Tiny Fire Station #2 in Wyevale. The 9,000-litre capacity truck, designed for areas without fire hydrants, replaces a 20-year-old unit.

Funded through Fire Department reserves, it enhances the department's operational capabilities and supports rural firefighting efforts. Tiny Fire maintains an accredited Superior Tanker Shuttle Service, ensuring effective fire protection in non-hydrant areas and potentially offering insurance discounts to property owners.
